Host Your Friends & Family in our Party Room

gal-partyroom

Everyone’s favourite condo amenity is always the party room! It’s convenient to have access to a party room in your condo for a number of reasons, primarily because it provides you with an event space at the drop of a hat, can accommodate way more people than your condo can, and keeps the mess out of your own space.

That being said, the party room in our building is not only convenient for those reasons but is super stylish, well designed, and will have your friends and family wishing they lived at 158 Front too.

The party room is equipped with a fridge and freezer where you can store food and drinks for your party, an oven, sink, and lots of counter space for prep. The extra long island leaves room for your guests to sit, but there is also a large dining table in the kitchen area if you’re hosting a full meal. Before or after dinner, you and your guests can hang out in the party room seating area which is well-equipped with comfortable couches and seating. There’s even a fireplace to make it feel extra cozy.

The party room is available for all of our owners to use, but if you’re planning a party around a holiday be sure to check if it’s available and book early!

gal-library

Ever feel like it’s hard to sit down with a great book at home? Sometimes it’s impossible not to be distracted by chores or choosing to watch the television, which is why you’ll love that we have a library in our building.

Not only will you not have to trek to Indigo to pick up a new novel, but there will be lots of space to curl up and cross a few chapters off your to-do list. If you have some work you need to finish up at home, there will also be tables and chairs where you can set up a work station. It’s the perfect place to escape, have some peace and quiet, and enjoy a great book.

Our building will have ten entire floors of amenities, the library being just one of them! You’ll also have the pool, theatre, games room, plus more to look forward to when you live in 158 Front.

NORM LI AG+I 150611_154Front_UP

We’re beyond excited to have Peter Clewes and his team at architectsAlliance working on our project. Clewes has been a leading architect through Toronto’s condo boom over the last decade or so, is an innovative creator, and knows our city well, so there was no question that our developer Cityzen wanted to work with him on this contemporary addition to our city’s oldest neighbourhood. We may have just found our favourite new food market in the city.

Spending the Summer at Sugar Beach

7985660338_3ff5b2c925_k

How sweet is it to have such a great beach so close to home? Sugar Beach is by far the most popular urban beach in the city, if not for its signature pink umbrellas then for its close proximity to downtown and most importantly, our neighbourhood.

The beach officially opened in 2010 after landscape architect (and friend of Cityzen) Claude Cormier’s design was complete. At the foot of Lower Jarvis Street you’ll find 36 cotton candy-coloured umbrellas and 150 white Muskoka chairs on the sand, a splash pad, the iconic striped rocks, and a tree-lined promenade. If you haven’t made the trip yet, be sure to head there before summer’s over!

Here’s a little Instagram glimpse at what you’ve been missing out on: Continue reading

WIN: The #MyFirstChoice Contest

Contest_TW-FB_2

One thing our developer Cityzen does really, really well is choose great neighbourhoods for their landmark buildings. At 158 Front, you can just look around and see many other buildings built by Cityzen, like L Tower, Backstage, and London on the Esplanade, and we can’t wait to be the newest addition to the ‘hood. We absolutely love spending the day browsing in St. Lawrence Market, shopping for our dinner ingredients, stopping for coffee, and just strolling around the neighbourhood, and we want to prove to you why it’s so great.

We want you to experience a day in the life of a St. Lawrence resident, which is why we’re hosting the #MyFirstChoice contest. To kick off our project launch, we’re giving away a ‘Day in the Life’ Prize Pack* so you can experience all of the best spots in the neighbourhood and tell us why it would be your first choice to live in in Toronto. Introducing… 158 Front

158_Header-01

We’re extremely excited to announce that we will soon be popping up in one of the city’s most loved neighbourhoods, St. Lawrence. There was no question that our developer, Cityzen, would target this amazing area for their next condo project in Toronto. The St. Lawrence neighbourhood is located in the heart of downtown Toronto which puts residents in close proximity work, restaurants, all kinds of shopping, our beautiful waterfront, and of course the iconic St. Lawrence Market. Our project will also be a 10 minute walk to Union Station and the Union Pearson Express, making it easy to get around the city or to the airport. Continue reading
