It’s finallllly here! Summerlicious is back for its 14th year, an event where over 220 Toronto restaurants come together to offer some of their best dishes at a prix fixe prices. This event is held two times a year, and is largely anticipated by Torontonians. With summer’s arrival and everyone itching to get onto a patio, it is a great time to invite friends and try different restaurants you haven’t been to before.
Summerlicious 2016 will be running for two weeks, from July 8th to July 24th. As usual, there will be three course prix fixe lunch and also dinner services available at all of the participating restaurants. This year, there are 24 new restaurants added to the event for even more delicious food!

Take a trip to France by trying out the french restaurant Le Papillon on Front, located at 69 Front Street E. This year for Summerlicious they will be offering lunch ($18) and dinner ($28), with lunch items like a smoked salmon and teriyaki chicken sandwich, while for dinner there is braised lamb shank and half cornish hen.
Teach yourself sign language at the Signs Restaurant and Bar that serves both Canadian and International foods (with a ton of vegan options!). This restaurant brings a unique experience to the table because all servers, hosts, and kitchen staff are deaf. To order your meal, the menu provides you with the correct sign language to use! Some of the foods you can find here are Watermelon Gazpacho, Agnolotti Stuffed goat cheese, and Grilled Lamb Tenderloins over mashed potatoes.
If you’re searching for a new place for dinner, check out the french steakhouse Fifth Grill and Terrace. This year at Summerlicious, they will be providing a dinner service ($48). This restaurant dinner service is offering a mouthwatering menu, from chilled summer soup caprese with prosciutto, 6 oz Filet of Beef Tenderloin, and to finish off, a Lemon Vanilla Creme Brulee.
Any mediterranean lovers out there? Brassaii Restaurant and Lounge is located in the heart of Toronto’s King Street West neighbourhood. This year, they will be offering dinner services at at $48. The menu includes Spanish Gazpacho, Ravioli, Rainbow Trout, and Pork Chops. Still hungry? Drool over their dessert menu that includes angel food cake, cheesecake, and tart.
Located in the heart of the Distillery District, French restaurant Cluny will also be serving a Summerlicious menu! They will be offering both lunch ($23) and dinner ($38) services this year. This restaurant has a unique feel in a large bright space, and some of the food they will be offering this year include Grilled Head on Prawns, Porchetta Sandwich, a Roasted Chicken Buckwheat Crepe, and Grilled Albacore Tuna.
